Project Description
Michael Gibbons is honored to have played Chaplain Lindell in Lord Finn. He is originally from Bowie, Maryland, and attended the University of Maryland, where he received degrees in Theatre and Television Production. He successfully completed a 26 year stint in the United States Air Force as a B-52 Radar Navigator and B-1 Flight Test CITS Operator. Michael has taken his passion for theatre and performance into his post-military life. He fused it with a couple things learned whilst flying, and put all that experience to work as Managing Director for Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park for four years. He has recently gone into the world of “contracting,” capitalizing on his military experience. Michael acts as frequently as life and local casting directors will allow. Favorite recent stage roles are Richard in Richard III with Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park, Salieri in Amadeus with Oklahoma City Theatre Company, and Frank Abignale Sr. in Catch Me If You Can with the Sooner Theatre. He is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association, the professional union for stage actors and stage managers. He can also be seen in the recently, and soon-to-be, released feature films You People, Wildlife, The Adventures of Jurassic Pet: Chapter 1, and, of course, Lord Finn. His greatest and most cherished role is husband to Michelle, and father to Taylor, Aedan and Caitlyn. Their love and support make this wonderful, crazy life a spectacular journey!
